Humpback Whale Bioenergetics
In the face of a changing environment and shifting prey availability, the aim of this project is to quantify the bioenergetic demands of humpback whale migration between Alaskan feeding and Hawaiian breeding grounds.

Gray Whale Ecology and Conservation
Eastern North Pacific gray whales have declined by more than 50% since 2016. This project investigates their population dynamics, energetic costs and requirements, and behavioral adaptation to environmental change across foraging and breeding grounds.
